Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Hampshire

i have been married for 13 years we have a home valued at 300.000 dollars i am not on the deed but i have contibuted to the mortgage and taxes and other household expenses since we were married. my wife has willed one third of this property to each of her two children and one third to me the question is am i entitled to half of this property ?

This is a somewhat complex question involving both real estate and estate planning. There are times where you may decline to take a portion given to you under a will and accept what State law provides. As to which is better for you or the family, it's hard to say without a lot more detail. If the relationship is strong, perhaps the two of you need to meet with an attorney to review the concerns each of you may have regarding death issues.

Either way, I think you need to meet with an attorney and review the financial status of family holdings in order to preserve as much as practical in this difficult economy.
