In the case of an estate that might require a resident agent,for minor children, what are the duties of the resident agent and who may become one? I have conatcted a lawyer in newhampshire for help but the cost of representation would be more than the actual estate is worth....

Typically, a resident agent simply receives process and official notices and is charged with making sure that the principal receives the notice and paperwork in a timely manner.
