Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Hampshire

i haven't been on speaking terms with any relatives for years. they know i'm in san jose,ca and they all live in n.h. is anyone legally obligated to try and locate me or will it be up to my only sister to decide the final outcome?

If you are a named heir or if circumstances are such that you would become an heir, then you would have to be notified. There is not much information provided in your question. However, if you know the county in which the deceased died you should call that Probate Court to see if an estate has been opened.
