Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Hampshire
Will
My father just died, he just got married while in the VA hospital and his new wife got his entire estate, I got a token fee but was never shown any paper work or will, I was told that this was his intent but he died before finalizing it? Do I have the right to ask to see all paperwork ?

Re: Will
Yes, you should be entitled to see the probate file. However, a will which was not "finalized", which I assume means that he had not signed, is not effective to transfer title.
You would be well advised to contact an attorney. Please feel free to contact my office. I see clients in Concord, New Hampshire as well as in Massachusetts.
Re: Will
If there was any estate subject to probate, you are definitely entitled to examine the entire probate file. Unless all of your father's assets were held jointly with his wife, there would be a need for probate proceedings. I wish I could offer further information, but I don't understand what you mean that he didn't finalize his plans. Either there is a will, or there is not.
I suggest that you would benefit from meeting with an attorney to review the unique facts and circumstances of your situation.
