Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Hampshire
I settled my workman.s comp claim in 2006. I just found out that I would have collected my claim until I died. The adjuster at Liberty Mutual never explained this to me. She was more concerned about the money she had to settle for me.Is there any action that I can take against Liberty Mutual for not fully informing me of what I should have been told. Recently had a very sarcastic customer service rep.talk to me. I would never have settled this if I had known that I would collect until my death.

You can look into a lawsuit for an unfair settlement practice under RSA 417; the correspondence and documents signed in the settlement will be important to that. You should check with the NH Insurance Department first.
