Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey
My friend passed away and made me trustee of her TUW trust account for her daughter who is 23. She is driving us insane for years now. Between the bad decisions she is making in her life, I do not know if the money is going to what it is suppose to go to. The accountant and I do not want to take care of her anymore and was wondering how we would go about passing the trustee account to the state or courts.

You should contact the surrogate's court. They may be able to find someone [e.g. an attorney] who may be willing to take over as trustee. This will require a court proceeding and you and the accountant will need to file an accounting and be formally discharged.
Jon is correct, but does the Will have any language about successors or what happens if the original trustee, resigns, becomes disabled or dies? Also, at what age(s) does trust terminate?
