moving

What is law regarding moving out of nj to pa with my three children, in my agreement it states only an address needs to be provided.

You cannot take a child out of state (not even a day trip to New York) without the other parent's consent.

I've been dealing with this issue all week in cases where the other party did not follow the law. What you are looking for is "removal" of the children. Regardless of what the agreement says, you need either consent of the other parent or a court order. I suggest getting the consent in writing. Getting a court order is not as easy at it sounds. Depending on your situation, there are over a dozen factors that you will have to show the court as to why you should move. I strongly suggest getting an attorney to help you with this since if you lose, it probably be very difficult to undo the damage.
