Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New Jersey

I am in the process of filing for bankruptcy. One of the creditors is sueing me and if they get a judgement against me will that be part of future bankrupotcy? The bankruptcy has not been filed yet, have a few more payments to make for the lawyer and filing fee.

If you hired a lawyer to represent you in a bankruptcy filing then you should pose the questions to him or her. Most bankruptcy lawyers respond to their clients' questions and would prefer that client questions come to them rather than go elsewhere.
