Legal Question in Administrative Law in New Jersey
I have recently hired an employee with a guilty shoplifting offense which was never mentioned. Prior to receiving background check, there was an incident of $20 dollars being taken from employers wallet. we are a small business and have never had any loss of money or equipment in the past. Any suggestions? Can I just terminate employee without any repercussions toward business?
