Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in New Jersey

easement

my next door neighbor has been using 3ft or more of my property as a driveway with out my concent . just recently he was asked to remove all vechiles from property so a fence could be put up to the property line. we recieved a letter from his lawyer saying he is apply for a easement. on our street most homes have only common walkways what should we do
