Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in New Jersey
My wife allowed her sister to use her credit card to help her out of a situation, which cost $8,000.00 The sister paid $3,000 and stated that she's caught up, even though we have statements coming in still owing $5,000. She refuse to pay anymore and the worst is that this was all a verbal agreement. Nothing written down.
My question is, is there anything that we can do?
