Legal Question in Banking Law in New Jersey
3 payments behind on a second home that we have for sale. The bank broke a lock, entered the house, turned off the water supply. Does the bank have the right to do this without notice to us? Thank you.

Your mortgage probably gives the bank the authority to come on the property to protect it if the loan is in default and the bank has a reasomable concern about the preservation of the property. Read your mortgage to be sure.
