Legal Question in Banking Law in New Jersey

So apparently I've received derogatory credit reporting from my lender even though my mortgage was discharged in lien pendens (which I learned from court records). However, the bank after dicharging the loan attempted to turn it over to SRA Associates for collections.

My credit is derogatory even after the bank stated that the parties had settled amicably. This action took place after I was evicted from my home for a tax lien foreclosure. One year later I am still homeless and the bank refuses to stop collection harassment or make any concessions for not stepping in to stop tax lien eviction. I would like to know if this matter can be resolved through legal counsel? I've been told that it's impossible to go against the bank or sue for an illegal eviction in New Jersey where the home was originally purchased for cash (I'm the title holder).
