Legal Question in Banking Law in New Jersey
Ch 13 problem with mortgage payment
I am out of work for a couple of months now. I've already had my one forgiveness for going 30 days late and I was able to catch up and become current on my mortgage. Now since I'm out of work and I won't be able to make my mortgage payment. Since the court most likley won't let me keep my Ch 13 plan in place. How long will it be before I am forced to leave my home? My morgage company will most likely file for releif from the court and start foreclosure proceeding.
Please advise me and let me know what the chain of events will be.
