Legal Question in Banking Law in New Jersey
duplicated payment
First of all excuse my english.
I sell some goods and the buyer should (wire) transfer to my checking account the amount of $60.000.
He did the transfer on last tuesday. On Thursday I found in my bank account another tranfer (another $60.000), so I received $120.000 instead of $60.000.-
Do I have any wrights or reward about that extra money?

Re: duplicated payment
No. You have an obligation to inform your bank and the buyer - either the bank made a mistake or the buyer did, and in either event they are entitled to the money back.
