The best way is for her to go to her bank and ask for a "Payable on Death" form, usually called a "POD." She fills out that form with the information requested and the names of her first and successor beneficiaries, files it with the bank, keeps a copy, and the deal is done. Upon her passing all money in the account will be delivered to her beneficiary(s) upon presentation of a certified copy of her death certificate. Yes, it's that easy.
