Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New Jersey
Arrest warrant for court no-show
I was just served a warrant for my arrest. I haven't called the creditor yet, but I believe that I was summoned to attend court for non-payment on a credit card. Is there anyway around this? Would I be better off claiming bankruptcy? Is there anyway I can settle this
without going to court? For example, setting up a
payment plan with the Creditors?

If you file bankruptcy you cannot be arrested. You should file as quickly as possible because in addition to the arrest warrant problem, you may soon face a wage garnishment, or levy on you bank accounts and other property. call me 201-646-9799
