Fees vary depending on the chapter of bankrutpcy (7, 13 or 11), the complexity of the matter, time frame (i.e., emergency filing or normal timing), and the background and experience of the attorney you are hiring.
You should consult with a couple of reputable bankruptcy attorneys in your area. One good way to find one is through a non-profit legal referral service (LRS) run by the Local Bar Association in your county or city. The American Bar Association has a list to approved LRSs (which you can find on their website).
