Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New Jersey
Bankruptcy and a Civil suit
I have a civil suit judgement against me from a property damage claim in which no one was injured. My question is, under NJ law, can this be included in bankruptcy or will I still have to pay this? The reason I would be filing bankruptcy is specifically for this suit. I have been paying for 10yrs now and I owe more now than I did when it started. I would appreciate any thoughts, comments, or other questions regarding this.
Thank you
