Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New Jersey
bankruptcy discharge
we refinanced in 2006, at that time the title search co. could not find proof of a discharged loan from 1990. The bank was named in bankruptcy, but has disappeared from mergers. How do I find debt and discharge?

I cannot tell from your question whether you are talking about a recorded mortgage which is still on record, or a judgment which is still on record. In either case, there is a way to have it removed. If you would like more information, feel free to call.
