Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New Jersey
I have lived in NJ for 15 1/2 years with a green card. I have paid taxes, owned properties and own my owm business. Can I declare banckruptcy if I need to?

You don�t have to be a citizen to file a bankruptcy case in the United States.You do have to be a resident of the place where you plan to file your bankruptcy case for the greatest part of the last 180 days.
