Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New Jersey
Voluntary Petition for Chapter 7
When do you receive a copy from an attorney after signing a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Voluntary Petition? Can you let me know how the procedure works regarding this? And how can I obtain one.

You should contact your attorney and ask them to send you a copy of the proof of filing, which is done electronically now. They will have a copy of the filing, which they receive by email.
I would be happy to follow up with you. Please email me directly or call my office if you would like to schedule an appointment either in person or by telephone. My contact information is listed in the links below.
