Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey
Booklet / Publication
1) I made a booklet for my job, but I'm thinking about getting it published. If I put the company logo on my publication can I still personally publish it, by just simply removing the logo before I send it to the publisher?
2) How do I go about getting the booklet published / copyrighted?
3) Do I have to contact everyone I used as a reference and ask the person or company if I can use them as a reference in my booklet?

Re: Booklet / Publication
If you made the booklet in connection with your employment, it is a work made for hire under the Copyright Act and your employer is deemed to be the author.
