How is commercial expression distinguished by the Court from other forms of expression? Is commercial expression protected by the First Amendment?

commercial 'free speech' is protected, although not as highly protected as noncommercial speech. there are many cases on this topic; you will want to look at both the US Supreme Court cases and the NJ Supreme Court cases, of which there are many.
