Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey
Confidential Information
I am submitting Grant LOI's on behalf of a client. Some of the information we are submitting contains Financials. Should I place CONFIDENTIAL OR PRIVATE CLIENT INFORMATION OR?? in the header/footer or as a Watermark on each page. Thank you very much.

Re: Confidential Information
Adding confidentiality notices on a document you don't want disclosed to third parties is not a bad idea, but a separate, written non-disclosure agreement is a more comprehensive and advantageous method to protect the LOI. These are relatively simple, straightforward documents, and I would be happy to prepare one for you.
Re: Confidential Information
Yes, you can let them know the information is confidential. It may not make a difference from a legal standpint, but it is better than nothing at all.
