Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey
How to take off a deceased name from my deed. I bought my house 1985 and the consigner's name was never removed from the deed, now I'm trying to sell or secure a loan and this presents a problem.

If the property is held jointly with right of survivorship then the property would go to you. If not, then the estate of the decedent would still own the other half. You need an attorney to examine the language in the Deed to decide how to address this matter.

John is correct. I need to see the original Deed and then I can advise you what to do. It all depends on the language of how the Grantees (current owners) took title.
