Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey
Default Request
When the people was served and did not respond the complaint summos before the deadline, the plaintiff filed default request against that person in NJ state superior court. Is there any law-required time frame (e.g., 10 days or ..) exisits that requies the NJ state court to take action on this default request? Thanks.

If properly filed and eligible, the Court will process the default. It may take a week or 2 to be returned.
