Hello. On Feb. 23 2010. i gave my friend $250 dollars cash for 2 cell phones that she was selling to me, she told me to give her the money in advance and that she will give me both phones in like a week, i trusted her with my money because she was my friend..But since Feb. 23 2010 she got my money and hasnt give me the phones..She been hidding from me to not returning me my money back, she even blocked me in facebook.. To prove that she owes me that money i have some text messages about conversation i had with her asking for my money back..I know $250 dollars isnt a big amount but i hate the way she is doing things to me to not returning my money..What i can do about this? I just want her to pay me in one way or another.. Thank you in advance..

You could consider suing her in small claims court, which is not expensive and something you can do yourself. Your difficulty is that you have little proof of your claim, if she did not acknowledge what you wrote in your e-mails to her. You have no written verification so you have an uphill battle. This is a response to an Internet question and the reply is not intended to be legal advice or as creating an attorney-client relationship.
