Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey

Is it illegal to just paint nails in a nail salon without a license? It's a family business so can i do that? Please answer thank you.

As a Franchise Attorney I can say this. Normally painting nails in a nail salon falls under applicable licensing requirements. So you have to be a licensed manicurist to do this. A family business is no defense to violations of licensing laws. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
