Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey
Hi, my name is John,
As a minority equity owner of a company, am I entitled to request that the company give me all the board of directors names?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Assuming it is a corporation and not an LLC, generally yes, however the specific manner of request or how the information is to be provided would depend what state the company was formed in and whether the provision of such information is mentioned in the bylaws and certificate of incorporation of the company.
