yes.

you should have an attorney to advise you when you create a new business, and you should have a good accountant too.

If you would like, give me a call; I am in northern New Jersey. I will be happy to discuss this with you; the telephone consultation will be free.

Yes, however you need to have a registered agent physically located in New Jersey. The registered agent is responsible for receiving official notices from the State. The LLC must also register with the NJ Department of Revenue before doing business in New Jersey.

Re: Llc

Yes. The business will need a Registered Agent and a Registered Office in New Jersey. The registered office need not be a place where you actually conduct business. I frequently act as the Registered Agent for businesses and use my office address as the Registered Office. The State is principally concerned about having someone within the State who is capable of accepting service of process on behalf of the business.

Your question invites a query about why you want to register in New Jersey if you are operating elsewhere. There are many good reasons for doing that. There are also many misconceptions about the effects of doing business in a foreign jurisdiction. I could probably help you decide if you really need to do that. If so, give me a call using the information in the Attorney Profile.
