In New Jersey, a limited liability company may provide in its operating agreement for meetings by telephone, video conferencing, as well as in person. Most limited liability companies and closely held corporations also have a provision for consent resolutions. The parties simply make resolutions and each of the members and managing members execute the resolution without a formal meeting. This saves time and money and allows the business to maintain the necessary legal formalities.

I hope this helps!

The other attorney is right on point. It all depends of what your operating agreement says (or doesn't say) about meetings. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
