Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey
we were negotiating with our business partners regarding a buyout proposal for a store we owned in a strip mall. The morning of the negotiations the former landlord(Sold the property 11 days earlier) and his attorney gave my attorney and me a complaint which said that if we do not sign the revised lease agreement we will be stopped from entering our business. The Former Landlord is related to my former partners who bought me out. This complaint signed by the former landlords attorney was never filed in court. Do I have any course of action that I can take against the former landlord. Please help. Advice rally appreciated. Thank you.

Any attorney will say a review of all facts, documents, etc. is required. After that, a personal consultation is needed. This is not a simple bulletin board type question. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
