not sure what you are asking, foreign corporations do need to register to do business in Jersey, and stay registered. you can do all this on the NJ State Government website.
I represent many small businesses, and I can help you if you need it. Let me know.

A certificate of good standing is not required, but if the business activities in the state are substantial, you will need to register to do business in NJ, designate a registered agent in the state, and file annual reports and pay annual report filing fees. Kindly note and remember that my response is merely a general comment on the law related to your question, and NOT legal advice or opinion. Also, your question and my response does NOT create an attorney-client relationship between us. You cannot rely upon what I have written, because I do not have all of the information that I need to advise you or render an opinion. Even simple facts you have not shared can completely change my answer. For me to give you legal advice or opinion, you would need to hire me to be your lawyer, and then we would need to discuss this in detail and go over the documents.

The reason you got a Certificate of Good Standing from the State of Incorporation is to register to do business in New Jersey. After you initially register in NJ, you must file the NJ CBT tax return as well as the Annual Report.
You should talk with a tax and business lawyer about the proper form of entity (why are you a corporation rather than a Limited Liability Company.) Also, if you are an S corporation for Federal purposes, unless you file a NJ election, you will be a C corporation for NJ State tax purposes.
I hope this helps!
