Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey
I have a provisional patent filed for a product. How much does it cost to file for a regular patent application?

Roughly between $8k and $15k. It really depends on the patent.
I appreciate your question but it is like asking a builder how much it cost to build a house. What kind of house? How big? is it a mansion on a cliff or a small two bedroom on a slab of concrete?
You need to speak with IP counsel in private and explore your options in more detail. The large firm I worked at in the past would see patent prosecutions that ranged from 25-100K. Most we see here run between 6-10K if that helps.
If you would like to discuss further over a free phone consult, feel free to contact me anytime that is convenient.
Kind regards,
