Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey
My Referral Idea
I am in advertising and and I want to form a network of advertises that pay me commissions for referrals of successufl jobs. For example, if a client contacts me I will referer them to be the best agency for their needs. That agency will pay me a commmission at the conclusion of a job. If I start doing this do I need a business license and register with the state?

Re: My Referral Idea
If you are doing business under a name other than your own name, you need to provide some documentation to the State. What you need to do depends on the particular form of business that you are organizing. That, in turn, depends on your objectives and business plan.
My firm handles business formation matters. If I can be of further help to you, call or email. If you remind me that the contact was through Lawguru, the first consultation will be free.
