Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey

Reinbursement

i worked for a entertainment company for 2 years and have repaired equipment for said company for 2 years and have not been reinbursed for the repaired equipment. the company does not exist anymore and i have stored this equipment at my residence for a additional 8 months. the owner has called me and asked if he could pick up his equipment. should i not return the equipment and wait till he has paid me for the repair and maitenance and storage or retune the equipment and procede with a law suit. i have contacted him previously about this matter and have not had a response.

the value of the equipment is less then the amount that he

owes me for repair.

Re: Reinbursement

If you have not already billed him for repairs and storgae, do so now, by certified mail. Let him initiate a suit for the return of the equipment and counter-sue for your bill. The Court will ultimately decise who is entitled to what, if it goes to Court at all.
