seeking refund of money contributed to church
Can a person who contributed tithes to a church (a non profit organization) claim refund later.

No, it is considered a gift. Unless a gift is "for building a new church", or contingent upon something else (in writing, or a corroborated verbal promise to dedicate the funds), you can not get it back later.

No. A completed gift is not refundable. If you need some of it back, why not talk to the church Pastor?
