Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey
tattoo artist legal help
I am a tattoo artist working in NJ. I
work for a tattoo artist who is
untrustworthy. He has a violent
temper and I fear for my safety when
at work. He never gave me a copy of
my contract and refuses to do so. I
want to open up my own shop, but I
don't know how many miles I am
legally supposed to be separated from
his shop if I leave. Also, if I am fired,
does the existing contract (that I do
not have a copy of) become null and
void? Please help me. Thank you.
