Is it considered trademark infringement if you use a reputable designer's name as an acronym, or an acrostic to sell your product?

I would be careful, as how the display is used could go beyond just infringement to name theft. For example: using YSL for Young, Sophisticated Lady, might create a problem. I suggest contacting an attorney specializing in patents and trademarks.
