Utility patent costs

How much does a lawyer charge for a Utility Patent application process.

You should contact a patent attorney, one who specifically practices in that area. I could recommend several with whom I have worked in the past. Be aware that as part of the procedure searches are required in the Patent Office and elsewhere, which start at several hundred dollars and can go further depending upon what is found. My best estimate is that the minimum is about $750 and could go to several thousand, depending upon what is involved. Usually they will give you a free estimate of the projected costs.

You should contact a patent attorney who specializes in this type of law. Most charge on an houly basis, but some may do the work for a flat fixed fee.
