Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New Jersey
I was asked to be a bridesmaid in a wedding. The bride made us get the dresses over a year in advance of the wedding. Six months before the wedding was to take place, she decided she no longer wanted to get married, and cancelled the wedding. Because I am dating her ex-fiancee's brother, she refuses to repay me for the bridesmaid dress. The dress was not altered, or used in any way. David's Bridal will not take it back. She has paid other bridesmaids in her wedding the cost for the unused dresses, but refuses to reinburst me. Is there a legal way I can get a refund for this dress that will never be worn, FROM HER? Thank you.

Good Lord. Your former best friend is acting like a complete jerk.
As to what to do, come on in, we will talk it over, I will try to give you some advice that makes sense compared to the amount of money you are out. No charge for the first office visit.
