Is there any way I can retrieve the money I was scammed by from the Nigerian government.

I was one of those nieve people who tried to get a loan online and was scammed literally. Is there anything Ican do to get what I lost.

It is not likely that it was the Nigerian government that took your money; rather, it is likely that the thieves are operating out of an internet cafe somewhere in Lago, Nigeria or another large city.
