Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New Jersey
i am disabled and was moved by my boyfriend at the time two hours from home..i suffer chronic pain and have been fighting a stage four decubitous ulcer for nearly 8 months now..have been on bedrest for the entire length of this time. as i am not able to get out and about i have been signing over checks under deress for months..my sons child support. the threat being 'you need a roof dont you". since i have stopped doing so the relationship has ended, but not my bedrest. There was also monies given as payment for furniture under a verbal agreement. as i have not been the warm body to purchase these items his name is on everything. i am still ill and on bedrest under the same roof with this person (he is an attorney) i feel i have been secluded and used for this money as his own employer finds it hard to make payroll from week to week. do i have recourse??
