Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New Jersey

How is it possible that my estranged husband can download a specific Iphone application that would allow him to know where my vehicle is at all times? He has mysteriously showed up in places that I am at, only to see what I am doing and who I am with. The most recent experience was this past Friday when he showed up at a place that I had parked my vehicle. He practically mowed down a friend of mine as she drove away in her vehicle after dropping me off to see if she was a man. Just a week prior to this incident, he was bragging about the Iphone application that would allow him to do this.
I called Apple this morning and explained to them the issue. I told them that the vehicle is registered in my name as well as owned by me....and demanded that they remove it; but they refused. They told me to contact my local police department...but I don't want to involve the local authorities, when this is clearly an issue of violating one's privacy and should be handled through the company that is enabling this.
What sort of legal rights do I have, if any?
