Neighbor getting worse as time goes on..
I have this neighbor who has gone seriously crazy. He is getting worse as time goes on. I feel the cops are not doing enough at all. They always seem to be beleving him. Me and my Mom and some other neighbors know how bad this guy is, but the cops do nothing about it. I'm not gonna go into full detail right now, cause I am over stressed and it's too much to write out. What i want to know is what do we do, knowing that the cops aren't really believing us it seems. It is to the point where we are fearing he may hurt or even kill us when he goes into his rants. What do we do now knowing the cops aren't taking this serious at all.... I have never been this stressed out in my life at all...

Re: Neighbor getting worse as time goes on..
If the police have no reason to believe that a crime has been committed or there is reason to believe that someone is in imminent danger of physical harm, then they do not have any cause to arrest your neighbor. You and your neighbors, however, may proceed with an action for an injunction or damages. An injunction popularly known as a restraining order- is to prevent your neighbors future conduct. A suit for damages would be for past harm (physical) to your person or property. To proceed, you should get to gather with your neighbors and obtain witness statements, photographs, and if available, video footage. Once you have obtained the forgoing items, seek legal advice from a local attorney on how to proceed with your court case. Such cases are usually settled through court order mediation.
