Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New Jersey
security cameras were installed around my apartment building which is great but my problem is that all day long a group of women sit in the managers office and watch everyone come and go and they gossip and I don't like it. I feel that the cameras should be used so that if a crime is commited "in the parking lot" the tapes could be reviewed. No one is watching the videos from 5pm to 9am so why should they watch them all day long? I feel they are being misused and want to know if I have "a leg to stand on'.

No. The same rules would apply if "these women" were sitting on a stoop watching and gossiping as neighbors come and go.
