Name forgery in IT.

I�m a computer programmer. Someone at my company modified a program and put my name there as if I was the last person to modify this program. After this modifications the program was not functional. How can I pursue this case?

I would need more information to give you a definitive answer. Have you suffered harm to your reputation in the work place or any other damages as a result of this incident? Has your company suffered any damages as a result of the non-functioning software?

Software/source code is unique to the author, everyone does it differently, some better, some worse. If the forgery of your name was intentional and has damaged your reputation in the work place b/c of the now non-functioning program, there may be something to pursue.
