Use of Web site addressess in printed materials

Can one include web site addresses in a printed guide, in which an editor would review and evaluate the sites, without have the site owner's permission?

What you describe is akin to a restaurant guide or movie review, and these publications are perfectly legal and do not require such permission. The author should not make any factual statements that are false, just as in other types of reviews (imagine the lawsuit against a restaurant reviewer who falsely claimed to have seen a rat in the dining room, for example), but the principle is perfectly legal.

Yes, it is permissible.

Stay clear of any use of the listed tradenames in any way that would falsely imply that you or your publication are associated with the reviewed sites; and of course be absolutely truthful and accurate in your evaluations.
