steps to take

I have not found a attorney to take my case. I feel I have a good one and want to file my law suit anyway myself. What steps are required to file a law suit against a state? What are the steps required? And what forms are used?

You can only sue a state if a statute allows it or under very rare circumstances. Usually, you have to sue certain individuals in their official capacity as state officers.

The forms, or filings, depend on what type of suit you are filing. There may be a form book for your type of suit, if you let me know what you are suing for.
